Kevin is a veteran cosplayer and a fixture of East Coast events in years past. He even appeared as Captain America in a Southern NJ comic shop commercial and as Negan in a local restaurant commercial! You may have seen him as Batman, Captain America, Wolverine, James Bond, The Comedian, and many more, at just about every major convention on the east coast. This year he joins us as a featured cosplayer! His award winning costumes have been featured by multiple online publications including Pop Culture Uncovered, Fan Boy Nation, as well as many others. When not appearing at conventions in his impressive cosplay, Kevin attends charity events as some of his most famous characters, while belonging to The Heroes Alliance and as a founding member of the Philadelphia Avengers.

The Central PA Avengers are a group of friends and family who has taken their cosplay and costuming skills to the next level. The level of greatness. Providing children and families with Super heroes, princesses and more! Our characters spring spirit back into children’s lives and give them the strength and encouragement they need in trying times. Our mission statement “We came, we made friends, we made smiles!” is just a small testament to the power of charity cosplay.
The Central PA Ghostbusters are a group of fans that got together four years ago at a local Dan Aykroyd signing. Since then, they have grown in members and focused on raising autism awareness by taking donations for the NHS school in Carlisle. They “ain’t afraid of no ghost” or autism. They do several types of fundraisers, events, parades, conventions, and the occasional party. They enjoy being out in the community with their ectomobiles and participating with local charities.
Captain Jack brings his crew and their 35ft long Pirate ship on wheels and a boatload of fun wherever they go! The Captain and his crew, along with a host of professional cosplayers, artists, and even a Pirate band, all raise money for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation of Lehigh Valley.

The Heroes Alliance is a volunteer organization whose mission is to bring a “real-life” superhero experience to terminally ill and medically fragile children, and to support child, family, and community-oriented groups and causes through high quality superhero portrayal. The Heroes Alliance was founded in Tampa FL over 10 years ago and has branches across the country.

Kati Coe is a cosplayer, toy enthusiast, and an overall supporter of the geek culture. From Delaware, she currently travels along the east coast, attending conventions and events as a cosplay guest, toy vendor, and enthusiastic spectator. If she’s not hosting a panel, or judging a costume contest, then you can usually find her overseeing operations at the Coenen Collectibles booth, a toy/comic/collectibles business that she co-owns. Ashen Phoenix is a national cosplay group based out of the Northeast. Starting in the import scene, the team noticed a correlation between the designs of the cars and the overall celebration of Japanese culture. That was the first introduction into anime, and it became more of a fit for the girls than what they had been doing. Ashen Phoenix is comprised of a group of gamers, comic book fans, Otakus that have been cosplaying professionally for two years, even though some of them have been involved for almost a decade. They are constantly striving to learn more about the art of cosplay to create a wider variety of costumes with different techniques as the team prides themselves on designing their own attire.

Kayley Marie is a Central Pennsylvanian cosplayer, teacher, artist, gamer, lover of books and comic books alike, and all-around geek girl. She has been featured in Geeks Are Sexy and Comic Book Resources, among numerous geek culture media sites, and was selected as “Cosplay of the Month” by SciFiNow Magazine, and featured on Marvel.com as Thor. She gives back to the community as a member of the Central PA Avengers, a volunteer team of cosplayers who partner with nonprofits, libraries, and charity groups to bring smiles to kids and adults alike. Kayley is a vocal advocate of cosplay inclusivity and body positivity, and she encourages cosplayers to be supportive of their fellow cosplayers and be respectable representatives for those new to the hobby. When she isn’t in her studio covered in paint, glue, and eva foam, Kayley can be found working as an art teacher, sipping on tea, and spending time with her husband.
Sharon Rose is a cosplayer, published author and artist, comic book lover, reading enthusiast, and all-around geek girl. Known for her EVA foam armor crafting, props, and paint detail work, she has been featured on numerous geek culture media sites, including Geeks Are Sexy and Marvel.com. She has degrees in art and communication, and she has been creating art in various forms her entire life.
Sharon is a vocal advocate for cosplay inclusivity and body positivity. She has been a cosplay guest and speaker at several East Coast conventions, discussing how cosplay has helped her overcome body image issues and depression due to having polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She hopes her story encourages others to view cosplay as a healthy and healing outlet in addition to being a complex art form. Sharon is also a member of the Central PA Avengers, a nonprofit volunteer team of cosplayers who partner with hospitals, charity groups, and community organizations to bring smiles to kids and adults alike. When she isn’t in her studio covered in paint, glue, and fabric, Sharon can be found working at an academic library, drinking coffee, or snuggling with her cats.
